Q: Is the Derma roller good for creepy skin on neck and arms?

I would recommend that a derma roller be used by a skincare professional (such as an esthetician,) instead of personal usage.

I say this because they will know how to use the tool in terms of the amount of pressure and time needed for your skin.

For example, too much derma roller usage on the skin can damage the Keratinocytes on the epidermis.

Keratinocytes perform the skin barrier function, which prevents dirt, bacteria, and UV radiation from entering the body. It also reduces the loss of moisture, heat, and other important things from exiting the body.

The barrier function will either not work or work less than it should if exposed to the sun too much. This may cause hyperpigmentation and dark spots on the skin.

Therefore, I think that it is very important you find an esthetician to help you with a derma roller.
