It is true if you do not want to use the wrong cleanser. Using warm water is a better substitute for a cleanser that you shouldn’t be using on your skin.
For example, if I go on a one-day trip and I forget my cleanser, I would wash my face with only water. Although I am used to washing my face with a cleanser twice a day.
Of course, I won’t feel as comfortable not washing my face with a cleanser, but just using water is better than washing my face with a soap that eats the acid mantle on the outer layer of skin and makes it drier. And having drier skin will lead to issues that will make it look worse for you.
There are products and cleansers for dry/sensitive skin that if you consult with your esthetician, that can help you choose the best one for your skin type. Helping you choose the right one will go a long way towards making sure your skin stays healthy and happy for as long as possible!
