Large pores and rough skin on the face sound pretty tough. No pun intended of course, but there are a few solutions out there if you choose to see your neighborhood esthetician.
Getting facials with exfoliation would be a good option, but if your esthetician chooses to go deeper than regular exfoliation, she can also perform microdermabrasion, which is going to clean the pores, as well as taking off a thick layer of dead skin.
After the microdermabrasion, your skin can now breathe and the pores will be clean.
Clinical skincare lines also offer a liquid solution that estheticians often use to close larger pores. Make sure to ask your esthetician or dermatologist if you feel that using this solution might be a good idea.
The home treatment after this is very important. You should make sure to use a cream, moisturizer, and sunscreen that is proper for your skin type in order to prevent your skin pores from enlarging anymore. This should keep the skin on your face from getting rougher as well.
Taking the time to maintain your skin at home will help you a lot in the long run.
