Q&As: “What Serum is Good for the Skin” and “Do I need to consult a skin specialist for better skin?”

Today, I received two interesting questions in my inbox. One asked about a good serum for the skin, and the other asked whether or not a person should consult a skin specialist for better skin.

Q1: What Serum is Good for the Skin?

The very first thing you need to do is visit a skincare professional/esthetician in your area for a skin analysis.

After that, depending on your skin type (oily, dry, dehydrated, or combination,) the professional can help you with choosing the right products, including the right serum.

Personally, I use concentrated vitamin C serum on my clients for hydrating and brightening the skin.

Q2: Do I need to consult a skin specialist for better skin?

You absolutely need to consult a skin specialist for better skin!

Skincare is not a DIY thing at all. Although you may see a lot of different advertisements and videos online, you are likely to not know which one is good for your skin.

For example, if you use something that has vitamin C in it like a cream or even lemon juice to make a masque for your skin, you need to reapply your sunscreen every two hours. If not, you will get hyperpigmentation and dark spots on your skin. Advice like this is not what you hear or see on the videos and advertisements.

Therefore, it is really important to visit an esthetician/skincare professional to choose the right products for your skin. Get all the best advice possible and don’t just rely on advice from untrained people.

Thanks for the questions as usual! I am looking forwards to more in my inbox!

See you next time!
